Methane Gas discovered on Mars may signal Biological Activity according to Scientists.

Mars’s surface shows signs of the presence of methane gas and that is a sign of biological activity or even primitive life forms say scientists studying the Red Planet. Scientists don’t know what’s creating the methane gas and further studies are needed.

Sam Smith a planetary scientist at NASA’s Amy research center in California, said in a telephone interview. “If there really is methane on Mars, it’s very exciting.”
